Sometimes you delete your precious messages on WhatsApp. You want to recover it but you are unable to do that. You did not know the technology which restores your chats. That is why I am going to tell you some tricks that will help you. Whatsapp is not providing direct tools that can help you to back up or restore your data. You have to do some tricks for this. These tricks will work for android devices, but they may not help with iPhones.

How to backup your chats:

Sometimes you want some data on your WhatsApp that you want. It could be a test, or funny videos from your friends, and family.

• For this purpose, you need to check on WhatsApp.

• Open WhatsApp, go to settings, chats, and backups.

• Here you can add your email and backup your chats.

When you uninstall your WhatsApp application and install it again, you will get a popup of backup. By putting your email account. You can back up your chats.

Restore your data from google drive:

Data on your WhatsApp is sometimes important. It can be a document from your colleague, your assignments, or a project. This information is necessary to be restored.

• If you want to restore your data from google drive, you have to enable this in settings.

• Select it on frequent bases as daily, weekly or monthly.

When you uninstall your WhatsApp application, after reinstallation, ensure that your new device is connected to your google accounts. The screen will show restore data. Click on the restore option. Your media will restore from google drive.

Restore data from local backup:

Data on your WhatsApp could be evidence that can be necessary to save someone’s life.

• If you want a local backup, you have to transfer your data from your laptop to your mobile phone.

• Now download a file manager. If you already have then it's good.

• Open the file manager and navigate to WhatsApp. If you do not have an SD card then you will search for internal storage.

• Now copy the most recent backup on your new device.

• Install WhatsApp, verify your number, and tap restore, you will get data from the local backup.

Data restore a less recent local backup:

• Download the file manager on your android device.

• Rename the backup file you want to restore from msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt12 to msgstore.db.crypt12. An earlier backup might be on an earlier protocol, such as crypt9 or crypt10. Don't change the number of the crypt extension.

• Uninstall the WhatsApp application, and reinstall it. Tap on restore. Your data will be restored.

Restore data on iPhones:

You can restore data on iPhones also. When you install an application, go to the app store, WhatsApp, and there is a sign of restoring data. Click on that icon and restore your data.
